The LEGO Group and you can help with Hurricane Katrina Relief!

The US Gulf Coast has been devastated by Hurricane Katrina. We have all seen the devastation in the region and all the displaced families. They all have little or nothing from their homes and have been displaced around the country. Companies and organizations from around the world are assisting in relief efforts, including The LEGO Group.

LEGO employees around the world have been collecting money internally that is being matched dollar for dollar by the Edith and Godtfred Kirk Christiansen Foundation in the name of the Relief Fund and will be given to the
Red Cross.

Now, The LEGO Group has invited the Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) community to join in it's
employee donation matching program. We the members of the Greater Florida LEGO Train Club ask you to participate in this great program. Please send your Check or money order donation to made out to the "Red Cross" to the following address:

LEGO Group
Attn: AFOL Katrina Relief
555 Taylor Road
Enfield, CT 06082

Or you bring your cash donation to our Club display at an
event here in Florida. We will mail it to then for you with all the other donations from great folk like you. Every donation counts and with the help of the LEGO Group, the community’s effort will go even farther to helping out relief efforts.

Thank you everyone who can help out with monetary donations. But, if you can’t give through this program, please donate or volunteer in another way. The hurricane Katrina victims need your help.

Thank you again,

The members of the Greater Florida LEGO Train Club and the community.
