GFLTC Layout Tunnel and Track Clearance.
The Greater Florida LEGO® Train Club uses a 12 studs wide (i.e. 2 studs off the ties, on each side) by 14 bricks high track clearance on straight sections of track (see image). On curved and switching track sections, add one more studs to each side for a total of 14 studs wide (i.e. 3 studs off the ties, on each side). Please note that this clearance only applies to main line track


GFLTC Layout Track Spacing.
The Greater Florida LEGO® Train Club use three basic types of units(cabinet/table). The most common of the three is the 60x30 inch unit, the next common would be the 40x40 inch end unit and least common is 30x30 inch unit(not shown). Below is some examples of standard track spacing in these units on baseplates. The baseplates are shown for reference only.

Standard (2 tracks in front) 60x30 inch unit.
From the front on baseplates: 4 studs - track - 8 studs - track

Standard 90º Section (2 tracks in front) 40x40 inch end unit.
From the front on baseplates: 4 studs - track - 8 studs - track

Standard 90º End Section (2 tracks in front) 40x40 inch end unit.
From the fron on baseplatest: 4 studs - track - 8 studs - track

Standard Zigzag (2 tracks front to back to front) 60x30 inch unit.
From the front on baseplates (ends only): 4 studs - track - 8 studs - track
Note: There is some stud slop, but it should work with a slight track torque.
